About

As a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Neurology at Yale University School of Medicine, my primary research focus centers on investigating the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying neuronal-glial interactions. My research specifically aims to understand how these interactions are disrupted during the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative disorders, with a particular emphasis on Alzheimer's disease (AD). To achieve this goal, I employ cutting-edge techniques such as subcellular proteomics, induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) modeling, in vivo imaging, and molecular manipulations. I utilize a complementary set of models, including human postmortem brain, human iPSC models, and transgenic mice models. Through these approaches, I aim to uncover novel insights into the complex mechanisms underlying neuronal-glial communications in neurodegenerative disorders. I'm currently a BrightFocus Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow (2021-2023) and an Alzheimer's Association Research Fellow (2023-2026).
